The Great Wave of Kanagawa

Boats in heavy waves

Inspired by Japanese artist Hokusai (created in 1831) The Great Wave was a joy to recreate for Tejka.
Towering waves crash and curl with fierce intensity, their deep blues and frothy whites surging with raw power. Amid the chaos, long wooden boats struggle to ride the churning sea, their delicate frames dwarfed by the massive swells. The golden sky above, brushed with soft clouds, casts a warm yet contrasting glow against the cool tumult below. In the distance, the serene silhouette of Mount Fuji stands unwavering, a symbol of quiet strength amidst the storm.
